    What is an idiom? Idioms are common expressions in your native language, in this case English. An Idiom is a figure of speech having non-literal meaning. Meaning, you may not be able to deduce (or figure out the meaning) from the individual words or phrase by itself.

    What to do with the Matching Cards: Simply print out these pages on card stock or a thicker paper. Cut apart the matching cards along the dashed lines. Laminate for longevity. Much of her elementary curriculum was written by her during a period of internment in India during WWII. This time period helped solidify Dr. Montessori’s belief in Peace Education.
