What educators are saying

I've loved watching my student's creativity come alive when trying to spend 1 million dollars. This mini-project is a great end-of-year activity.
We love these packets for independent work while we pull small math groups to review essential standards!!

Description

This pack contains directions, fake blank checks, and record keeping sheets for a great project for your math students.

Students are tasked with spending a million dollars. They are required to buy a house, a vehicle, and a college education. Students research those required purchases, along with other luxury items, until they've spent every dime!

This project based learning activity helps students understand the value of money, place value to a million, and addition and subtraction of large numbers.
