This stations activity includes primary sources and political cartoons to get students thinking critically about imperialism around the world.

I used this activity in my World History class with 10th graders when I needed to teach multiple portions of imperialism in a time crunch! It focuses on U.S. and European imperialism and its effects in Africa, India, China, and the Pacific.
Possible ways to use the stations activity:
- Stations! Hang up around room and get students moving (Laminate and reuse!)
- Document packet! Students work in small groups and complete these as a packet
- Jigsaw! Students become an expert on 1-2 stations and teach a small group
- Have students access electronically (Post the PDF stations & Google Doc student handout on your Google Classroom)
- Complete as a teacher-led, whole class activity
This activity can be a great challenge to introduce and/or teach many global history concepts!
