    Description

Are you looking for a fun and engaging way to teach your students about one and two-step inequalities? Look no further than our "Inequalities Color by Number: Coloring Worksheet Bundle"!

This product includes everything you need to help your students practice one and two-step inequalities while incorporating art and creativity into math class through coloring.

Here are the contents included in the "Inequalities Color by Number: Coloring Worksheet Bundle" product:

    • Worksheets containing 16 problems for each page that focus on one-step and two-step inequalities (adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing). The problems include one-step, two-step, and multistep inequalities with integers, decimals, and fractions.
    • The corresponding color-by-number sheets that students can use to check their work and color in the pictures.
    • Answer keys to quickly and easily check students' work.
    • The coloring sheets without numbers allow students to color the pictures creatively and freely.

This product covers the following standards:

    • 6.EE.B.5: Understand solving an equation or inequality as a process of answering a question: which values from a specified set, if any, make the equation or inequality true? Use substitution to determine whether a given number in a specified set makes an equation or inequality true.
    • 6.EE.B.7: Solve real-world and mathematical problems by writing and solving equations of the form + = and = for cases in which, and are all nonnegative rational numbers.
    • 7.EE.B.4a: Solve word problems leading to equations of the form + = and ( + ) = , where , , and are specific rational numbers. Solve equations of these forms fluently. Compare an algebraic solution to an arithmetic solution, identifying the sequence of the operations used in each approach. For example, the perimeter of a rectangle is 54 cm. Its length is 6 cm. What is its width?

By using this activity, your students will benefit from:

    • Engaging and interactive practice on one and two-step inequalities.
    • Incorporating art and creativity into math class through coloring.
    • Self-checking their answers by matching their solutions with the corresponding color on the color-by-number sheet.
    • Building motivation and confidence by seeing the picture come to life as they solve more problems correctly.

    This resource is perfect for:

    • Test prep and review.
    • Math centers.
    • Homework.
    • Early finishers.
    • Sub plans.
    • Enrichment.
    • Extra practice.
