What educators are saying

This is a great informal tool to check those articulation skills for progress reports or yearly reviews without using a standardized assessment. I also like that it is small and portable.
It is a quick and easy tool to use with the students, and it works great for what I am targeting for their goals. It is being sent home as homework over the summer.

    • stimulus pictures for the following sounds: /h, w, y, ing, p, b, t, d,. k, g, f, v, s, z, sh, ch, dj, zh, th, r, l, blends., multisyllabic words/
    • Google Forms

➡️ HOW TO ASSEMBLE ARTICULATION SCREENER: Print screener on cardstock and laminate. Cut out and punch two holes at the top of each page. Place the stimulus picture items face to face with the screener response cards (this is so that when you flip over the page, the child sees the pictures, and you can record them on the recording sheet). You can also just set up the stimulus items as a flip book and then use the data recording sheets (pages 4-5) to record stimulus responses and send them home with a parent.

➡️ HOW TO ASSEMBLE LANGUAGE SCREENER: How to assemble: Print screener on cardstock and laminate. Cut out and punch two holes at the top of each page. Then, attach using binder rings. Some pages are out of order and have the number written at the bottom right corner to know the order of pages. Use the stimulus pages to match up with the recording forms. Put the screener stimulus items (the flip book) in front of the student and follow the recording forms for what to ask/say to the student. Grades 3-5 start on page 7.

➡️ HOW TO ADMINISTER: Bring a dry-erase marker, so the child can circle certain items or modify by having them point to items.
