This Venn Diagram organizer can be used for helping your students understand how the four inner planets (Mercury, Venus, Mars, Earth) differ from the outer planets (Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune). Additionally, this organizer will help students list similar features among the inner and outer planets. You have the option of using this ActivBoard lesson in one of two ways. One option is to have students fill in the categories of the Venn Diagram. The other option is to have students drag a description to the correct category of the Venn Diagram. Print off the two options and assign students needing an extra challenge the first option, while students needing assistance the second option.
An answer key is provided.
