Description
INSECT REPORT - Insects and Informational Writing
This STUDENT REPORT TEMPLATE is a great way to support primary children as they learn how to research information and write in explanatory or informative forms. This resource will complement a study of insects or bugs and provide a purpose and audience for your students to share their new knowledge.
During this research project, each of your students will:
- select an insect to learn more about
- draw diagrams with labels
- tell about its habitat and diet
- discover whether it is helpful or harmful
- share amazing facts.
This research can be structured individually or in cooperative pairings or small groups, allowing the children to learn with and from each other. Plan for a sharing expo where the students can showcase what they learned.
