Description
Book recommendations are a great way to foster your classroom reading community! These book recommendation cards come in both a rainbow of colors and black and white! At the bottom of each card it says "Recommended by" and then has a number. The students can use the card with their classroom number (or you can give them an assigned number if you don't have class numbers). The numbers go from 0 - 45!
Book Recommendation Bulletin Board:
Our book recommendation bulletin board is an interactive way for students to share great books with their classmates! The laminated book recommendation cards are stapled up to the board. When students read a great book they want to share, they simply fill out one of the book recommendation slips , and then add it to their book recommendation card with a paper clip!

I’ve included several options for book recommendation slips! The ones with the outlined rectangles are for students to draw a picture of the book! I left the “title” and “author” text off these cards because their picture should include them! (At least the title!) The other options are available for students who may not want to draw a picture, or who want to include more writing! I also have a blank version and just a lined version that you can use as well!
