Description
This is an excellent initial activity on Google Slides to help your students start practicing and recognizing the conjugation of regular passato prossimo verbs with essere and avere. Use as practice activity, daily bell ringers or an activity to provide more practice for the struggling student. All activities include high frequency verbs to ensure comprehension. For both forms, with essere and avere, the students complete 3 activities seeing and understanding the form prior being asked to form it.
These slides are:
- Interactive - drag words and sentences and type in answers
- Self-checking (two versions are included: a self-checking version with links to all answer
slides or a version with only the activities for the teacher to check.)
- No prep - They are set and ready for you to assign for your students in class or distance
learning. *Make sure each student receives their own copy when you assign it.

- TWO match the sentence to the picture it represents - one with the passato prossimo with essere and one with avere. (10 questions)
- Match the English translation of a sentence to the Italian sentence with the passato prossimo with avere. (12 questions)
- TWO Match the correct subject to each sentence one with the passato prossimo with essere and one with avere. (18 questions)
- Drag the verb to the correct sentence with passato prossimo with essere. (10 questions)
- THREE conjugate the verbs in the form of the passato prossimo - one with the passato prossimo with essere, one with avere and one combined. (40 questions)
