    Description

This is the ONLY end of the year Kindergarten math and reading assessment bundle you'll need! It includes 39 tests to cover 75 Kindergarten Reading and Math Standards. It works well as a Kindergarten baseline test, Kindergarten end-of-the-year test, and/or Kindergarten or 1st Grade beginning-of-the-year test. Personally, I use this same test four times each year for report card grades and to monitor student growth.

These can be used as individual tests for each skill or put together as one large assessment.

There is a cover page that doubles as a score recording sheet for each test. There are 33 pages of whole-group assessments and 4 recording sheets to track individual assessments. We recommend printing these pages as a stapled booklet on 11x17 paper if that is an available option, but regular printing works well too. A rubric is not included because different school systems have different grading scales. Also, there are different expectations at different points in the school year.

    Math Assessments include:

    - Count objects to 20

What teachers are saying about these products:

♥ "To say I love this assessment is an understatement! THANK YOU so much! I am using this right now to assess my students to see what we need to revisit before the end of the year!" (Math Assessments).

♥ "This bundle of assessments made my end-of-year assessing so easy! I am looking forward to using the materials to guide my assessments this coming year. There are several options included and I was able to pick and choose what was best suited for my classroom and student population! I used assessments from both the math and reading assessment files. I also like that there were recording sheets that were aligned with the assessments and it was easy to track scores for each student. My students found the materials fairly self-explanatory and I found that the assessments were neither too short to get good data nor too long to bore the students."

♥ "I used this as my end of the year assessment. It was perfect! My students didn't even notice that they were taking a test." (Math Assessments)

♥ "This was so helpful for grades at the end of the year! I could see exactly what the kids knew :)" (Reading Assessments)

♥ "This set gives me an overall view of the things my students still need to work on! Wish I found this at the beginning of the year so I could compare their assessments." (Reading Assessments)

Understand the relationship between numbers and quantities; connect counting to cardinality.
When counting objects, say the number names in the standard order, pairing each object with one and only one number name and each number name with one and only one object.
