Description
This high-interest reading strategies activity will help students learn to recognize healthy nutrition in some of their favorite food items! Using real life pictures to keep students on task and focused for both Level 1 (non-readers) and Level 2 (readers), they will use reading or matching skills and be happy doing it!
This Life Skills Work Task Basket includes:

SUGGESTED IEP GOAL ALIGNMENT:
Given two foods to compare, STUDENT will describe up to three attributes (taste, texture, and shape) by using a personal experience or knowledge, in written or verbal form, with 80% accuracy, in 4 out of 5 opportunities, by MONTH, YEAR.
Given a work task related to a life skill which requires reading words to match a picture, or matching picture to picture, STUDENT will independently complete the activity within allotted amount of time, with 80% accuracy, in 4 out of 5 opportunities, by MONTH, YEAR.
