What educators are saying
Very well made floating chart!!! It helps my students to identify the signposts for the different ablative cases.
Description
So many ablatives to keep track of! So many overlapping characteristics! If only there were a process! Now there is. Use this flow chart to make concrete the necessary analysis for identifying ablatives. Divided between those with prepositions and those without, the flow chart takes users through a series of questions or clues that identify ablatives. It of course is not comprehensive nor foolproof (nor is it intended to be) but gives users a basic framework and process for working with ablatives.
Included is a title page, tips and explanation sheet, the chart on one page and then the chart split over two pages.
These are the ablatives included:
o AGENT
o PLACE FROM WHICH
o SEPARATION
o PARTITIVE
o WITH PREPOSITION
o PLACE WHERE
o MANNER
o ACCOMPANIMENT
o TIME WHEN & WITHIN WHICH
o DEGREE OF DIFFERENCE
o COMPARISON
o ABSOLUTE
o WITH DEPONENT VERBS / VPUFF
o MEANS
o DESCRIPTION
o CAUSE
o RESPECT / SPECIFICATION
