Layers of the Atmosphere Poster Project

This poster project about the layers of the atmosphere is a great way to have students demonstrate what they know about each layer. The downloadable file comes with an editable rubric, and a PDF with project instructions and rubric.

For this project, you will create a poster that depicts the layers of the atmosphere. Be sure to include: the layer names and locations, characteristic information about each layer (i.e. temperature trends, molecule arrangement, types of gases found there, etc.), what the layer provides for us, and what objects you may be able to find there (manmade or otherwise). You will be graded on the information you include, as well as neatness, creativity, and thought put into the design/arrangement of your poster. See rubric for details.
