What educators are saying
My students live escaping to Hawaii each year with this virtual field trip. They learn alot about the cultural, landscape, and lifestyle of the islands!
I bought this to use at the end of the year as part of a special "Hawaiian Day". It was SOOOO great!!! My kids were so excited during the entire day and this helped make things run smooth!
Description
Hawaii is such a beautiful place...Why not share its beauty with your students? Using this "Let's Visit Hawaii" unit, your students will see much of the state's islands with real photographs, nonfiction text articles, and craftivities. They will learn through high interest topics such as surfing, learning the Hawaiian language, Shave Ice, and even luaus. There are ideas for having your own luau in the classroom: decorations, food ideas, tickets and more. Take your students on a guided tour of Hawaii with the included presentation of the main highlights of the islands. It pretends they're on a real flight, and includes airplane tickets for you to print out! What fun!
