Students will find a Child Development Career to research. You will have students begin with a self-assessment. They will answer what they want their ideal to career look like, such as how many hours they want to work, what classes they want to take, how much money and what benefits they want to have when they are working. Students will begin researching. Students will find information such as salary, skills needed, hours worked, education, career advancements and career outlook.
Once students are done researching they will fill out Is My Career A Good Fit. This lets student really dive into deciding if they can handle this job based on their research and what they are capable of achieving. Lastly, have your students complete a poster of their career research findings.
