Line Plots

Students will use measurement cards to measure the length of pencils (ruler included on the card), display measurements in a data table and a tally chart, and use the data to construct a line plot. This directly correlates to the Common Core Standard 3.MD.4.

This product includes:
*Directions (p.3)
*There are two sets of 12 measurement cards. The pencil measurements on the two sets are the same. One set has the measurement already listed on it. This is for differentiation purposes. (p.4-7)
*Data Collection Sheet & Data Display Sheet- for students to use to record the measurements of each pencil and to put data onto a tally chart. I have also included a page for just recording the measurements if you wanted to have your students practice measurement without the line plot practice too. (p.8 & 9)
*Displaying Data on a Line Plot Sheet: Students will display their data on a line plot (2 different variations for differentiation) (p.10 & 11)
*Answer Keys (p.12-13)
