Lord of the Flies Mock Trial Project Packet

This updated zip file contians all the documents needed to launch and run a Lord of the Flies Mock Trial!

The boys have returned from their time on the island, and now Jack must face the consequences of his actions. Students will examine the book by William Golding and conduct a trial based on their findings.

Included in this packet are templates for the following trial documents: Opening/Closing Statements, Witness Statements, Direct Examination Questions, Cross Examination Questions, Trail Fact Sheets, Juror Notes, Case Theory Worksheet, and a script for the Judge running the trial. I've also included an image file of the court seal that you can project or print out to use in your classroom during the trial.

It also includes two rubrics that can be used to evaluate your students performance.
