What educators are saying

I used this loteria to practice before state testing! It was great to review skills in a fun environment!
Super fun loteria game! I appreciate the pre-planned games with teacher call sheets, no prep needed :) I love to whip this out if I have extra time, an internet outage, or before a vacation. Kids love it!

Description

Print & Play Spanish Loteria Game. It's actually fun and students love it. Loteria is a Mexican game similar to bingo with images in place of numbers. The traditional loteria set contains images that are objectionable for school use, this set is fun, whimsical, and completely G rated.

The download includes 60 tablas (players' cards, 2/page) and an 8 page call list with 20 unique games. Just print and play.

About the tablas:

There are 60 cards each with 16 images. The 16 images come from a larger pool of 54 different images. All of the tablas are numbered and include the winning phrase "Buenas!" at the top.

The images are a mix of common vocabulary from class (el pescado, el almuerzo, etc) and fun vocabulary that students will learn instantly (la maincura, el pulpo).

All of the graphics are high quality and uniform. No wonky edges, pixelation, or amateurish design. They look great and my students respond to the bright, colorful, whimsical artwork.

About the call lists:

A call list is included with 20 randomized games. Typically the caller draws from a deck of cards, but this makes checking your students' matches difficult. By using the call list you can easily check off if your students' wins are legitimate.

Tip: Use dry pinto beans for authentic Loteria markers.

If you're in a rush/don't want to mess with printing in color, laminating, etc. I have a black and white version with 60 tablas and call lists that you can just print and play. It's has little check boxes on each tile so you can reuse each page for multiple games. Click here to check it out.
