Description

This Martin Luther King Jr. themed resource is based around one 3 page reading that walks through the main events of MLK's life and will work perfectly as a close reading exercise. It also features reading response questions based on the passage, vocabulary, vocabulary cards, activities, and writing prompts/activities.

All worksheet content is in black and white (including pictures) for easy printing. Vocabulary cards are in color. For your convenience, we've also included a teacher's guide and answer keys. The teacher's guide for this resource includes a Common Core Standards listing and usage map, a quick teaching close reading introduction as well as optional close reading "codes" that can be used by your students.
