What educators are saying

My students loved using this resource. It was very effective and engaging for my class. Just what we needed!
This resource was very helpful providing background context on the Magna Carta before we did a classroom activity on the topic.

Description

This is a simple reading and worksheet on England's Magna Carta. It includes details on King John, England's barons, and why the Magna Carta was signed.

After the reading, students complete a 1 page set of Common Core-aligned reading questions to help gauge their understanding of the reading. An answer key for this is included for your convenience.

This download also includes both printable and Google Docs versions of the activity! If you're in a paperless classroom or just want to integrate more digital resources, you can use the provided link to bring an editable version resource directly into Google Classroom!
