This exciting game comes with 30 task cards with reading passages and a game board to help students practice making text-to-self, text-to-text, and text-to-world connections. This making connections activity is perfect for reading centers/stations, early finishers, ELA test prep, and more!

Students will love practicing this important reading skill in a game format! As students make text connections to the passages written on the game cards, they collect points. The point system incentivizes students to make more difficult connections:

• Making a text-to-self connection earns 1 point
• Making a text-to-text connection earns 2 points
• Making a text-to-world connection earns 3 points
