What educators are saying

This year was my first year doing Biz Kids and I loved it. Since it was optional this year I only had a few students choose to participate but next year I will be having the entire class participate. It is such a great learning experience for the students.

Description

The Market Day project for elementary students is a hands-on experience where kids become entrepreneurs.

They brainstorm and create a product, learn teamwork and basic economics, and explore advertising. The project culminates in a Market Day event where students set up booths to sell their products, applying math skills and engaging with customers. Afterward, they reflect on their experiences, celebrate successes, and gain valuable insights into teamwork and business basics. This fun and interactive project instills creativity and foundational business knowledge in young learners!

During the market day event, students set up booths or stations to showcase their products, interact with potential customers, and make sales. This hands-on experience provides valuable lessons in entrepreneurship, teamwork, and communication, and it allows students to see the direct impact of their efforts.
