Martin Luther King Jr. Mixed Operations - Watch, Think, Color Game!

Watch, Think, Color! Students watch the board, think about the clues to figure out the number, and color the spot indicated. When they are finished, they have made a picture. In this version of the game, students must solve multiplication and addition problems to discover the number they need to color on their hundreds chart. Look for other versions of the game which reinforce place value, expanded notation, counting coins, reading number words, and more. Find the skill that is right for your class!

This game gets the whole class focused on the activity. They get so sucked into the game, they don't realize they are practicing math skills! Slides change automatically! This game lasts approximately ten minutes. That gives you a chance to grade papers, check email, write a note to a parent, do whatever you need to do! Your class is actively engaged and learning while you can get some work done!

Students will need a hundreds chart to play this game. You can download it for free in my store or print one from the slides in the game.
