What educators are saying

I plan on using this resource next school year. It is something that I think will work well with my lesson in this unit.
We used some of these puzzles as "warm ups" on the first day of school. The students really enjoyed them and wanted to continue with them the next day of school.

Description

★This is a collection of animated math brain teasers and puzzles for PowerPoint. They are great for warm-up problems or just as a quick change of pace activity with either a projector or smart-board.

Many of the classic math puzzles (as well as some newer ones!) are included, all with animated solutions. A lot of them even have animated explanations showing how to solve the problem. The difficulty level ranges from Elementary all the way to Algebra. Even other teachers are likely to get fooled by a few of the lateral thinking problems.

The different puzzles require a mix of number sense, logic, spacial reasoning, and outside of the box thinking. Check out the preview file for a free sample of the puzzles from this set.

If there are any puzzles you'd like to see added, or if you have any other suggestions, please let me know! I do plan to update this product with more puzzles in the future and those updates will be free to you if you've already purchased the file. The answers are generally not visible until you run the slideshow so that students don't get a glimpse of the solution when you first open the file. That has always been a pet peeve of mine. :)
