Measurement Length, Perimeter Design Task Powerpoint (Metric but editable)

A great motivating measurement lesson! In this Powerpoint students are asked to choose an animal from the selection and design a house for one or more animals. Students combine their knowledge of length, perimeter and 3.D objects to design a house for one or more pets. (Metric Units used but it is editable)

The lesson requires the student to have an understanding of length, perimeter, area and converting m to cm and mm. The house must include a door and be big enough for the animal to fit inside. Great for Year 4, 5, 6 and 7 students.

To extend your higher students ask them to include different areas and make it a pet mansion!
