• Castles in the Middle Ages (TOP SELLER!): This 3 part, 37 page package contains the following: The first section is an easy to read, illustrated booklet (21 pages) that covers the 3 main types of castles in the Middle Ages (Motte & Bailey Castles/ Stone-Keep Castles/ Concentric Castles). It also covers: Special Features of Castles/ Attacking a Castle/ and Life in a Castle. The second section has a worksheet on each of the 6 topics listed above, plus 3 additional worksheets. The third section is a test on the materials covered in the above booklet. There is an answer key included for the test.
• Becoming a Knight: (Overview and Activities) : This package contains 2 booklets. The first booklet is an illustrated overview of the journey to knighthood. It covers the steps to becoming a knight (page to squire to knight). The second booklet is a collection of 4 activities that ask the student to respond to what they have learned in creative ways.
• Becoming a Knight: (Worksheets and Answer Key): This 8 pages booklet is the companion to the Overview and Activities (see above) and includes 12 questions relating directly to the Becoming a Knight Overview booklet.
• Coat of Arms: Learn about the history of coats of arms in the Overview section. then find out about the pieces that make up a coat of arms in the Piece by Piece section. Use this information to make your own coat of arms, as well as understanding other people's coat of arms in the Activity section. Have fun with the two matching activities that can be used to reinforce the material learned, or use them as a quiz. The answer keys are included!
• A Knight's Uniform: The first section is a booklet detailing a knight's uniform and how it changed over the course of the Middle Ages. It is easy to read and has many clear illustrations. The second section is just for fun. It is called Dress-Up Knight, and as you might have guessed, it is a paper doll knight! All of the armor and clothing that was discussed in the booklet is included for the students to cut out and paste onto the knight.
