Description
These memory wheel templates can be used in so many ways. From end-of-the-year memory wheels, to getting to know you activities, to story elements graphic organizers to note-taking templates for any content area, these print and digital graphic organizers are very versatile.
This resource includes 6 print templates and 6 digital templates (in Google Slides):
- The graphic organizers/templates have 3, 4, 5, 6, and 8 sections.
- There’s one template with no sections, so lines can be added as desired....maybe you'd like some sections to be bigger than others.
These graphic organizers can be used in SO many ways. A few suggestions:
- To celebrate the memories at the end of the school year, students can create a memory wheel. This blog post has details about creating the memory wheels.
- A ‘getting to know you’ activity at the beginning of the year, like the ‘Meet the Mathematician” wheel. (This one has a background, but when there’s no background, students can cut the wheels out and mount on colored paper.)
- Graphic organizers in any subject area
- Define and illustrate vocabulary terms
- Help explain a process
- Brainstorm writing ideas
- Work with fractions
- Book reports
