    Description

    This bundle contains six popular and fun projects. Your students will learn to use excel by working on projects which are interesting and engaging.

    My Dream car

    Students will use Excel and its capabilities, to apply formulas and charts to a subject which they find fun and interesting, their dream car.

    This project is an application of project-based learning. They must create tables, charts and use formulas to calculate costs, including such costs as insurance, gas and maintenance.

    Disney World

    Students research costs and activities for a family trip to Disney World. They must then prepare a PowerPoint presentation on the decisions they made and the costs they would incur.

    Sugar and Fast Food

    Students pick five of their favorite fast food restaurants and plan a lunch/dinner menu at each one. Students then do a web search to collect calories and sugar gram content of each of their meal choices.

    They then create an Excel workbook page for each restaurant and create a spreadsheet to analyze the sugar and calorie content of each item.

    My Favorite Cookies

    Students will use Excel and its capabilities to create and do advanced formatting on charts, tables, and images. The project is divided into 8 steps that are clearly illustrated.

    Analyze Your Favorite Players

    This high interest and engaging project teaches advanced Microsoft Excel skills while students have fun analyzing their favorite sports stars. Students will be able to chart and analyze their chosen player’s performance statistics.

    Back to School - What’s Cool

    In this project, students participate in a national store study to find out how students will shop for clothes and accessories this year.Students will do internet research and then report their shopping views in a Microsoft Excel Workbook and then to the class in a PowerPoint presentation
