What educators are saying

My 5th graders had a BLAST doing this mock trial. They got so into their roles, some even prepared the night before voluntarily. They pretend to be too cool for school, but they loved reading a good old picture book and doing a mock trial about a beloved fairy tale.
My students enjoyed this role play! We had a blast in civics class using it and this launched us into a huge mock trial unit.

Description

This mock trial reader's theater of a unique take on "The Story of the Three Little Pigs" is an excellent way for students to experience the judicial system in action!

The script has been designed to accommodate 26 students* but can be adjusted based on the class size.

*Not all students will have speaking roles but will still be involved in the trial.
