Are you a dance educator? Looking for a no prep creative movement lesson? This is the perfect resource for your students to explore how to move creatively using movement words and adverbs! Get your students up and moving with this cross-curricular dance and language resource and lesson.
This bundle includes 40 different movement cards and 64 adverb cards.
LESSON IDEA:
1) Teacher may select cards randomly, or put students in pairs to select cards. Student A chooses a movement card and Student B chooses an adverb card.
2) At the teacher's signal, students completes the movement card in the style of the adverb card (i.e. skipping happily). When the teacher signals to stop, students return their card and grab another.
This is an excellent activity to get students comfortable moving in different ways! Perfect activity to combine dance and literacy through the use of vocabulary and strengthen their overall learning experience, knowledge and understanding.
