Multiplication Depth and Complexity Bundle

This bundle includes 3 different word problems and task cards which all deal with multiplication. They include: Finding Factors of Prime and Composite Numbers, Multiply 3-4 Digits by 1 Digit, and Multiply 2 Digits by 2 Digits. All problems are multi-step problems in which students have to complete three different questions in order to complete the problem. This will help prepare students for similar formatting during state testing.

Each lesson also comes with several organizers for the word problem, which also includes the option for students to complete a writing portion in which kids must explain how they arrived at their answer. Twelve task cards are also part of each lesson, complete with an answer sheet and key.

All lessons include the option to write in different numerical amounts, so you can differentiate for your students. The option to complete the frame with or without cooperative learning structures is also included for each lesson. Directions for how to use these structures are included at the end of each lesson. Each page is also thoroughly explained on these pages as well.

These activities can also be used with students who are not identified as "GATE Students". I've used these lessons with students at all different levels, and they still enjoy it.
