WHAT'S INCLUDED:

There are TEN pages in this resource consisting of:

• Cover page
• PAGE 4: has a list of TIPS and IDEAS for the teacher.
• PAGES 5, 6 and 7: outline the task. There are six criteria areas for students to address.
• PAGE 8: is a teacher marking sheet for assessment purposes.
• PAGE 9: a table of suggested countries for research and a column to enter student names so you can keep track of the country each student is researching.
• PAGE 10: a black table for you to input your own choice of countries
• PAGES 11, 12 and 13 list internet sites where students might find information.

HOW TO USE:

Students are required to choose a country and research the instruments and music of that country.

My grade 7 and 8 students really enjoy this task and learn a great deal about the music of many different countries!
