What educators are saying
Description
This five day unit (with bonus day for six!) focuses on using the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, China as a learning tool for music education, while incorporating traditional winter Olympic sports such as hockey, curling, skating, and bobsledding (with a bonus speed skating lesson!). It can be used for elementary school students from kindergarten to sixth grade, as well as junior high students for fun and music review and offers students the chance to both prove their knowledge and think like Olympians! All while exploring music, culture and sports with each lesson. This unit has been updated through a few winter Olympics with new adventures every four years to celebrate a new Olympic country and culture!
