Planting Journal:
This "mini book" is a journaling/science investigation activity addressing a First Grade standards-based science unit on life science. Students will learn how a seed germinates and becomes a seedling, documenting each stage of growth. They will plant seeds, record the process, as well as their observations throughout the plant's lifecycle. Interactive text introduces vocabulary necessary for further discussion in the content area. The culminating "mini-activity" includes an assessment of students' learning. Classroom-tested, student-approved, Ms. Carter & Mrs. Mittelholtz will only offer you activities that are proven to captivate, motivate, and successfully engage our students.
