Florida’s Red Tide Phenomena attacks ecosystem. This Lesson uses Florida’s 2018 Red Tide phenomena to illustrate the movement of matter and energy through the ecosystem.

NGSS 3-5- ETS1 Engineering Design

3-5 ETS 1, 2, and 3 Engineering Design: Playground Swing

This NGSS aligned STEM project engages your students with a hands-on experience in designing and building a playground swing. While doing this project, they will learn and understand the engineering design process. This lesson aligns with all three NGSS performance expectations.
