These New Year's Day themed printables will do just that!
Students will be assigned one review sheet per day that first week back. There are 5 total worksheets, but you can choose whichever meets your needs as well.
Each has a math and literacy activity that students (on grade level) should be able to complete independently. It is also perfect for seatwork, morning work, homework, and even small groups/partners!

- Day 2-Nonfiction about holiday and bar graph
- Day 3-nonfiction (traditions) and double digit addition and subtraction
- Day 4-New Year's Times Square infographic and questions
- Day 5-New Year's one and two-step word problems (with regrouping) and main idea/details
3rd Grade version
- Day 1-fiction New Year's story and place value (3-4 digits)
- Day 2-Nonfiction about holiday and bar graph
- Day 3-nonfiction (traditions) with multiplication and division through 12
- Day 4-New Year's Times Square infographic and questions
- Day 5-New Year's one and two-step word problems (with regrouping, division, and adding 3 numbers) and main idea/details
