Description
A note-taking activity using informational texts that focus on some of New York's most popular bodies of water.
Best used using the JIGSAW model. Assign a group of students one body of water to read about and take notes on. The class comes back together as a whole, and each group shares out about their body of water, sharing their notes, and allowing their classmates to write down their own notes.
