Description
In Growing Success (the Kindergarten Addendum) it discusses the role of the Kindergarten Educator as one that “notices and names the learning” each child has shown. This enables educators to observe and document where a child is at in their learning journey.
The Communication of Learning does just that. It notices, names and provides appropriate feedback and next steps for a child’s learning journey. All reports are written from an asset point of view - what can the child DO and what are some things the child is not quite there yet on.
Each pack PROGRESS REPORTS, TERM 1 and 2 contain examples, checklists, guiding questions and everything you would need to complete your Communication of Learning reports!
This product includes:
- A Progress Report Communication of Learning Resource
- A Term 1-2 Communication of Learning Resource
Each resource includes:
- Guiding questions
- Checklists to gather assessment (in Term 1 and 2 only)
- A HUGE comment bank with strengths and next steps
- MANY example reports to use
It is an educator’s responsibility during reporting periods to identify key learning, growth in learning and next steps. Examples in this resource are purely fictional. I try my best to think of the whole child when writing and remember to think of growth, no matter how small it might seem. I hope you find this as helpful as I do when I write!
