Description

Engage your students in practicing their math and critical thinking skills with this Writing Numerical Expressions Worksheets Puzzle. This order of operations activity makes translating words into numerical expressions fun for even the most reluctant learners. This numerical expressions logic puzzle is perfect for math centers, early finishers, enrichment, homework, sub plans, and more!

To begin this order of operations activity, students solve 20 numerical expression problems to determine which clues are "valid" for solving the logic puzzle. Then, they must use those clues to complete the logic puzzle correctly. The logic puzzle is a great way to motivate students to work through each problem diligently!

These worksheets were designed to support the 5th grade math standard:

Write simple expressions that record calculations with numbers, and interpret numerical expressions without evaluating them.
