What educators are saying

I have used this at different times in the school year and each time my students love it! They will come back to class and ask if they can try to make another one. The directions and videos are easy to follow for students.
It was a lot to get situated with the cutting paper but I grabbed a few student helpers to help with cutting and the students really loved it. It kept them engaged through the end of the year madness.

Options for using this resource:

I show the class as a whole each step on how to fold using these instructions. Once they get the first piece they can create the rest of the pieces on their own. Then, as a class I show the steps on how to piece together the duo dodecahedron.

I love to hang these from the ceiling in my classroom! It makes for great decoration because the students use various color combinations for pictures and they like to decorate the pieces! This is a great end of the year activity!

**It is also fun to make a challenge to see how small and how big students can create! I've had students using post it notes to newspaper! You can also use leftover copies of worksheets to cut into squares to recycle paper!**
