Instructions to show your students on how to create an origami duo dodecahedron includes step-by-step instructions with real pictures for each step on how to fold each piece of paper as well as how to put it together! Options for using this resource:
I show the class as a whole each step on how to fold using these instructions. Once they get the first piece they can create the rest of the pieces on their own. Then, as a class I show the steps on how to piece together the duo dodecahedron.
I love to hang these from the ceiling in my classroom! It makes for great decoration because the students use various color combinations for pictures and they like to decorate the pieces! This is a great end of the year activity!
**It is also fun to make a challenge to see how small and how big students can create! I've had students using post it notes to newspaper! You can also use leftover copies of worksheets to cut into squares to recycle paper!**
