PARCC Test Prep: Research Task with Three Passages/Questions and Writing Prompt

This is a PARCC Research Task Analysis with Prose Constructed Response (Writing Task) Simulation and is designed in the exact format as the PARCC 2015 Practice Test. It consists of Three Passages, all non-fiction, with 2-3 A/B Format Questions, some that require more than one answer, and all that require the student to provide evidence of their answer from the text. The Writing Prompt involves having the students compare and contrast all three passages for point of view/opposing view and include their own opinion related to the topic.

This product is designed to be utilized for test-prep, to familiarize the student with the format and rigor of the new PARCC Assessment. The rigor of this sample task simulation is on the higher end of the 4-6 grade span, and could even be used as practice for 8th grade, depending on your students.
