I used this with my older students with special needs that needed more practice reading CVC words. I love how simple the lessons are to use. It does take a little bit of prep but, is worth it. I wish there were more phonics reading notebooks like this such as digraphs. A few things I did notice was in the short E section on the word ladder page it has an extra letter T and not another letter D to finish the word BED. Also on the short I section vocabulary practice page has the word CUP instead of another short I word. The last thing I noticed was in the short U section on the word ladders page it has an extra H and not the letter g to finish the word HUG. Other than that this is a wonderful resource.
Love this resource as an additional way to practice segmenting, blending, decoding, etc. Easy to use and assemble and engaging for a variety of students.
