    An interactive pocket chart center to build the poem I'm a Little Penguin, can also be used to teach a song, to the tune of I'm a little teapot, about this adorable artic animal.

    This is the type of center the kids WANT to go back to, over and over. After you display the poem, and recite it a couple times, they become eager to build the poem using the word cards.

    3. Building sentences: All About Penguins is a no-prep writing center perfect for your non-fiction, science, lessons about Penguin facts for kids.

    Printable penguin worksheet activities reinforce emergent reading and writing, concepts of print, sight words, punctuation, semantics, syntactic skills, and illustrating to represent sentences.

    Students use word tiles to build 10 Penguin Facts for Kids: one sentence on each page. When done, they draw an illustration and write the sentence.

    Level 1: worksheets include the sentence at the top of the page.

    Level 2: worksheets do not have the sentences printed. The students identify the word tiles, and put the words in order to make a sentence on their own.
