What educators are saying

Perfect to grab for a quick intervention moment. Other students who didn't need to be working with me often asked when it would be there turn to "do the cards."

Phonemic Awareness Word Lists and Activities BUNDLE

This resource is for you if you are:

❤️ A classroom teacher

❤️ An intervention teacher running groups for reading

❤️ Looking for something your Para or Educational Assistant can use when working with students.

❤️ Looking for a resource that helps parents help their kids with phonemic awareness skills.

❤️ Having volunteers work with children

❤️ Looking for a GRAB AND GO resource to use anytime and anywhere to make the most of your time?

✅How do I use these cards?

Print the color-coded cards, which cover 16 different skills, and place them on a ring, and you are ready to start. Place the rings of cards around your classroom for easy access.

✅How can I teach phonemic awareness when I only have a few minutes each day?

Grab a ring of cards and use them when waiting in lines for lunch, recess, dismissal or before leaving for specials. They are also perfect for direct instruction at the guided reading table or during shared reading for a warm-up.

✅Why are these the word lists I need?

They will make your instruction EASIER! Determine the skill you want to work on and grab that ring, and you are equipped with a ready-to-use list of words for that skill.

✅But wait, what about adults who support my students? Can they use them?

YES!!! All instructions are included on the cards, making them perfect for volunteers and parents. Each skill has enough words on the cards to be used with a whole class without giving students the same words. Skills such as Sound Segmenting and Sound Blending have many cards (many with a theme) to provide lots of practice without reusing word lists.
