The Classes and Parts of Levers cards and booklets are an interactive follow up activity kids can use in lower and upper elementary physical science lessons to have fun learning about simple machines. Kids enjoy laying out the cards, then filling in the booklets’ drawings and labels. These are great follow up activities to show mastery of the concepts presented in the lesson.

Solid Liquid and Gas sorting cards, mat, and control chart are a fun follow up activity for kids learning the states of matter. 

Kids being introduced to the concept of density will love working with the Sink or Float sorting cards, mat, and control chart!

Ideas for Use

These materials are all suited for Lower Elementary (or first, second, and third grades), but the Levers cards would also work for Upper Elementary (fourth and fifth grades). The States of Matter and Sink or Float sorting cards are presented simply enough that they can be used for Kindergarten or a Primary classroom.
