What educators are saying

This was great for my writing center. I introduced it, gave students expectations, and then they were able to easily use it without much help from me!

Description

Picture of the Day {Narrative Quick Writing for Kids!...

2nd EDITION!} I’ve had some requests for a second version of these writing pictures and prompts and am excited to post my Picture of the Day Quick Writes for Kids! This teaching packet is designed around a structured approach using timers to help all students in your classroom stay on task to improve their writing fluency and focus skills. Students complete their writings through whole group teacher guided instruction. The picture prompts are perfect for daily quick writing practice of narrative stories. They can be used for quick assessments or progress monitoring checks (RTI) as well. The pictures in this packet can be used with the provided writing prompts or students can create their own story ideas. Watch as your students begin to write with detail, organization, and fluency.
