Description
These place value activities include a treasure hunt, tic tac toe, matching, self-checking Easel, and secret message which correlate with the standard of "recognize a digit in one place represents 10 times as much as it represents in the place to its right and 1/10 of what it represents in the place to its left."
The treasure hunt ends by saying that the treasure is located at the PROJECTOR. I place a picture of a treasure at the projector and the first student or group to find it gets a "real treasure" of teacher choosing.
