Description
These planet research sheets are perfect for students in 1st through 3rd grade to complete a planet report during your solar system unit. Each sheet has a spot for basic information (order from the sun, what it's made out of, etc) and a spot for students to write 5 interesting facts they learn about their planet. These sheets can be done as a whole class, in partners, or as individual research projects. There are also full size posters for each planet with a large image of the planet and 3 basic facts about it. They're great as an introduction to the planets during your solar system unit and can be hung around your room for students to reference. Color and B&W options are included for all sheets. Best of all...it's NO PREP!!! Just print and go!

If your students are not yet reading independently they can watch YouTube videos on their planet or listen to books on sites such as EPIC to learn about their planet. Technology is your friend when doing research with littles! Then they can use these sheets to write down what they have learned.
