Plant Unit for 1st & 2nd Grade - Plant Life Cycle, Parts of a Plant, & More

This fun & comprehensive plant unit includes 2 weeks worth of lessons and activities to keep your budding botanists busy in the classroom. You will cover everything from parts of a plant to the plant life cycle to the ins and outs of photosynthesis, pollination, even chlorophyll extraction!

This plant unit addresses the NGSS science standards for plants & the life cycle of a plant plus a variety of Common Core Standards along the way!! It has been designed for first and second grade but can be easily modified up or down a grade by the teacher. 

Inside this life cycle of a plant unit you will find hands-on activities, lab investigations, critical thinking, cause and effect, sequencing, and more. You’ll get 15 vocabulary cards plus a student 'Growing Vocabulary' dictionary for students to use throughout their plant unit.
