Description

Figurative language is one of the keystones of our reading and adds interest to student writing. These cards give options to introduce literary concepts with or without the etymology that we offer in the Montessori lessons. Cards are color coded for self-correction if you want to mix the concepts to support crossing the midline as children separate the concepts.

Concept cards include sentences and poetry, with a focus on significant authors or those students will recognize like Shakespeare and Maya Angelou.
